Satish Menon has many years of industrial experience in research, development  and management of protein based therapeutics.  He is an expert in the development of protein based therapeutics such as cytokines, monoclonal antibodies and toxins from research to therapeutic.  He has had extensive experience in process development, commercial manufacturing and research in the upstream and downstream areas of protein therapeutics development.

Assay Development

 

Christine Burns has served the biotech tools and diagnostics industry for many years, directing R&D in product development and technical support, as well as leading Operations in manufacturing and quality.  Chris has experience in General Management, project management, and business development and has successfully initiated new businesses within organizational frameworks.  She has managed a number of laboratory operations including CLIA regulated labs.  She is an expert in the design and development of immunoassays and has extensive experience developing biomarker assays for clinical trials and companion diagnostics.

Eugene L. (Gene) Brown is an innovative and collaborative scientist with 20-plus years of technical and leadership experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He is an expert in developing applications for new platform technologies related to identifying mechanism of disease studies, the discovery, and validation of drug targets and biomarkers, compound selection, and animal model validation. Gene is the Managing Member of Quicksilver Consultants, LLC, which provides professional services in platform technologies and life sciences tools.

Ronnie Souza is a seasoned Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Professional with more than 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology research industries. Ronnie leverages years of experience and extensive knowledge to provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and administration of comprehensive environmental health and safety programs and policies. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to regulatory compliance audits, licensing, permitting, development, implementation, and management of EH&S plans/manuals, technical research and reports, OSHA, EPA and DOT training, and onsite OSHA compliant EH&S program management.

Charlie is a seasoned financial professional with experience growing companies in fast-paced environments, improving the financial performance of troubled enterprises and structuring complex transactions.   His areas of expertise include executing business plans to profitability, capital fundraising, design and implementation of financial management systems, management reporting tools, budgets, and forecasts.  Charlie has been serving as a consultant to start-up companies, family-owned businesses and individuals under the practice name Longwood Associates since 2001 and has assisted companies in raising more than $250,000,000 in private equity or debt financing.
